Own Nukutepipi!

Nukutepipi is a small and isolated atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago. Administratively attached to the municipality of Hao, Nukutepipi is located 350 kms away from to the north-east and 700 kms from Tahiti.

This small island, with a maximum length of 2.7 kms, has an area of 2.3 km² of land. It is composed mainly of two distinct “motu” (islets) connected by a coral reef surrounding the entire atoll. Its lagoon, with an area of 1.3 km², does not have a real open pass on the ocean.

As everywhere in the Tuamotus, Nukutepipi offers long beaches of pristine white sands, a lagoon with a thousand shades of blue under a tropical climate. The atoll has many other natural features including its own freshwater supply under the atoll. Teams of scientists are working hard to preserve this natural setting!

Nukutepipi is also one of the few atolls to have a virgin forest, the other atolls being mainly covered with coconut trees. Straw-tails (white birds with red beaks) nest on the ground, without fearing man, and frigates are numerous.

The atoll, located an hour and 45 minutes from Papeete, is self-sufficient in terms of food and power thanks to the many local plantations for the first and its solar panels for the latter.

The atoll, which has become private, has been the home of a team of twelve people since 2017, but this number is highly variable.

Canadian-born Guy Laliberté, founder of Cirque du Soleil, has made his dream come true in Polynesia… He has transformed this pristine atoll into a luxurious destination for billionaires offering an extraordinary living experience in the heart of an ultra-preserve and protected environment. Nukutepipi is a true sanctuary for relaxation and meditation.
